How do I get a quote for my catalytic converters?
Send us the reference codes stamped on your converters, clear photos (codes visible), quantities and your location — via email ([email protected]) or the quote form on our contact page. We usually respond with a firm quotation the same business day.
How are your prices calculated?
Each converter model has a known loading of platinum, palladium and rhodium. We identify your converter by its code and apply live market prices to its metal content. You can check current metal prices on our Live Metal Prices page at any time.
How fast is payment?
Payment is made by EFT as soon as your material is verified against the quote — for drop-offs, that typically means the same day.
Do you collect, or do I have to deliver?
Both. You can drop off at our Johannesburg or Durban branch during business hours, and we arrange collection for larger quantities across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
What e-waste do you accept?
Computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, circuit boards, mobile phones, cables, power supplies, office electronics, screens and more. If you're unsure, send a photo and we'll confirm.
Do you pay for e-waste, or is it a free disposal service?
Most e-waste has value and we pay for it — particularly circuit boards, servers, computers and cable. Some low-value or cost-negative streams (like CRT screens) may be handled as disposal; we'll always tell you upfront which is which.
What happens to data on hard drives and phones?
Data-bearing devices are tagged at intake and the storage media is destroyed, not resold. Business clients can request confirmation of destruction for POPIA and audit purposes.
Do I need any paperwork to sell converters?
Bring proof of identity for our records. For business and volume sellers we keep documented weights and itemised records of every transaction, which also protects you.
Is there a minimum quantity?
No — individuals are welcome to sell a single converter or one box of electronics. Collections are reserved for volume loads, but drop-offs have no minimum.
Which areas do you service?
We operate from Johannesburg and Durban, with collections across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal and service to clients nationwide — courier arrangements are possible for high-value material from other provinces.
